Blank Entries
Blank entries are not permitted. You will be prompted to enter a value.
Capitalization
Searches are not case sensitive. All letters, regardless of how you type them, will be understood as upper case. For example, searches for "barrington", "Barrington", "BaRrInGtOn" and "BARRINGTON" will all return the same results.Commas
All commas that are entered are removed before the search is made.
eg. "John Gorham, Lane" becomes "John Gorham Lane"Highway Address
If you live on a highway your address may be something like:
12345 No 10 Highway
To search try entering:
No: 12345
Street: No 10 *or
Search By Account Number
Incomplete Entries
Incomplete entries are allowed but are evaluated. This ensures the results are returned efficiently, and that we are not returning 1000 inaccurate results. All text searches are checked to ensure that you have entered at least 2 characters in your entry. An address search will be checked for an entry of a street number or a street name.Leading Blank Spaces
All leading spaces in a search request are trimmed for your convenience.Wild Cards
Wild Card searches are used when only part of a name, address or pin is known. Wild card searches are allowed, but with limitations designed to optimize system performance. Current rules for wild card use are:
the wild card character is an asterisk ( * ) can only appear after a minimum of two characters you can add an asterisk at the beginning, the middle or the end of your entry
